There will be several events held from late September through early October which are open to business owners which might be in need of a little advice or perhaps just want to network among other business owners from their sector.
The Business and Enterprise Group are holding these free events on the 25th September at the Gosforth Park Hotel in Newcastle and the later on October 16th at Wynyard Rooms, Billingham.
The aim of these events is that they will be providing advice on how to develop a successful business and how to drive business growth. All business owners are encouraged to attend if possible.
Attending the events to give businesses some legal advice will be the North East Chamber of Commerce (NECC) joined with Newcastle-based law firm Sintons. There will be mini-workshops, seminars and demonstrations, as well as talking face to face with experts.
The NECC will be showcasing one of its flagship membership benefits; access to a HR helpline and online advice, developed by HR specialists Croner. These services usually carry a weighty price but members of NECC can utilise them for free.
Legal experts from Sintons will be there to discuss all aspects of company ownership and give advice on intellectual property protection, employment matters, commercial property and contracts. Attendees will be able to pre-book 30-minute legal surgery sessions with solicitors from Sintons for free advice on any aspect of business law.
Charlie Nettle (Head of marketing at NECC)
“NECC’s primary aim is to make the North East a success.“We are pleased to be working with member firm Sintons and for them providing their expertise”
Charles Penn (Head of marketing at Sintons) added:
“In order to be successful, businesses need to receive sound advice”“ourselves and NECC feel it is vital that we can inform them as to what services are at their disposal.”
